Wessel Investment Counsel (hereafter, “We”, “Us”, “Our”)
respects the confidentiality of your personal, non-public information
(hereafter, “PNPI”). It is Our intention to ensure
that this information is safeguarded to protect against its misuse.
To that end, We are providing you with a copy of Our current Privacy
Policy to remind you of Our concern for and efforts related to
the protection of your PNPI.
Privacy Policy
As part of Our engagement with you, We will collect certain
PNPI about you which will generally include information regarding
your full name, address, phone number, date of birth, social
security number, drivers license number, various account numbers
and balances, tax returns, estate planning documents, sources
and amounts of income and probable expenditures as well as
other
sensitive items that may be pertinent to an analysis of your
financial situation.
All PNPI gathered by Us and all recommendations and advice
furnished by Us to you will be kept confidential and will not
be disclosed
to anyone, except as you and We may so agree in writing or as
We may be required to do so by law, or as may be required for
Us to
render service to you.
We restrict access to your PNPI to those of Our employees who
need to use your PNPI in the course of rendering services to you.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to
comply with federal standards to safeguard your PNPI.
If you have agreed to accept financial planning, investment management,
and/or other advisory services from Us, We may share your PNPI
with certain third parties. For example, We may share your PNPI
with affiliated or non-affiliated third parties who are engaged
by Us to act as the broker-dealer for and/or custodian of those
investment assets you have engaged Us to manage for you. We will
share only that PNPI from you that is necessary for Us to facilitate
and maintain those third-party relationships that are necessary
for Us to be able to provide Our services to you.
Should you prefer, We will not disclose PNPI about you to non-affiliated
third parties. You may opt out of such disclosures. That is, you
may direct Us to not make any disclosures other than those disclosures
that are required or permitted by law.

We will provide PNPI about a former client only if required to
do so by law or regulation. Otherwise, We will provide PNPI
about a former client only in those cases where disclosure of such
PNPI will allow Us to satisfy any continued obligation it may
have to that former client.
